  • Welcome!

*Please note that I am no longer accepting new clients.*

Thank you so much for visiting! I am Nicole, a custom newborn photographer and owner of Nicole Renée Newborns. I specialize in Newborn Portraiture in Baltimore County, Maryland and surrounding areas. I am a studio-only photographer working with natural light. I would describe my style as creative, fun and modern. I like natural poses, interesting textures and fun props. I am one of the only 100% digital newborn photographers in the Baltimore area and am thrilled to offer high-resolution digital files to my clients.

You can view my recent work by scrolling down, or visit my portfolio by clicking on one of the "portfolio" links at the top. Also, I truly enjoy donating my photography services to new adoptive families through my non-profit organization, Red Thread Sessions. I am no longer accepting new clients to focus on my family and do not have intentions of returning to work soon. It has been such a pleasure to work with so many families through the years, and I truly cherish every single one! May God bless your day!

Book your Spring session!

Don’t forget to schedule your Spring session – they are beginning to fill up! Only a few sessions are booked each weekend so that I can provide true custom portraiture.
Session are currently being booked for April & May and a few sessions are still available in March. I look forward to hearing from you and can’t wait to create unique portraits for your family!

And of course, what’s a blog post without an image – my new favorite of my daughter 🙂 This will probably be a large wall portrait with a nice custom frame … 18×24 … 20×30? Oh I can’t wait 🙂

a new little one

Isn’t this baby girl just gorgeous? It’s amazing how much she resembles her older brothers but is her own little person as well. At 3 weeks old, this little lady was pretty smart – each time we got her to sleep, she’d wake back up right after we laid her down. LOL. It was a Mom & Dad team effort to get her to sleep, and we finally had success for about 10 minutes – just long enough to snag a few precious “hat” portraits that Mom really wanted for the baby announcement.
Normally my favorite newborn images are when they’re sleeping, but the 2nd portrait might just be my favorite from this session. Her eyes are so big and brown and shiny – she’s definitely going to be a heartbreaker! Good thing she has Dad and her 2 older brothers around 🙂

Thanks Alisha! I really appreciate your comment and am thrilled you're following my work! Take care!

a breath of fresh air

Seriously, what a breath of fresh air! I think it was about 50 degrees yesterday … how amazing to get outside for a session, I have really missed it! The weather couldn’t have been more perfect and these kiddos were angels for me! Aren’t they adorable? Both of them had awesome blue eyes and were wonderful models. Thank you so much for braving the “winter” weather with me, I had a blast!

handsome baby and his big sis

Seriously, could this little guy have been ANY cuter?! I think not! He was such a perfect little model for me … and so was big sis! While we were waiting for him to wake up from his nap, we grabbed a few portraits in her bedroom, I just can’t get over her gorgeous hair! She was a great hostess too – thanks for sharing your keychain and showing me your new fishies!
Would you guess that we actually set up this handsome little man on the landing at the middle of the stairs? His house had some amazing natural light, how lucky for me! Mom – thank you so much for inviting me into your home, I had so much fun! And I think we captured a few winners of both of your babies too 🙂

miss blue eyes

What a cutie patootie! This little 4 month old really had some awesome blue eyes, I could just get lost in them! Miss R. was a real trooper – she put up with me and everything I asked mom to do. We used several rooms and I even got to hang out in her gorgeous nursery – it looked like it came straight out of a magazine! Mom, thanks for inviting me to capture your baby girl – such a pretty little thing! And Dad, I need to get that salsa recipe from you, thanks for sharing!
