These 2 ladies were a lot of fun yesterday! Miss E. was A-D-O-R-A-B-L-E and her momma is such a beautiful woman 🙂 I had so much fun with this session … I just adore the first and third shots – I would’ve loved to have had portraits like these with Peyton when I was pregnant! Miss E. was a natural – she’s gorgeous with a smile AND with that awesome pout. And mom … well, you can see for yourself that she’s a beauty.
I was super excited to get outside to one of my favorite locations yesterday. I hope this amazing weather is here to stay because I am so DONE with shooting sessions inside!! To Mom and Miss E. – thanks for meeting up with me! I am so thrilled to be shooting your little guy’s newborn session too – I can’t wait to see you again!
At almost 3 weeks old, this baby girl is one of the “oldest” newborns I’ve photographed. We got some awesome portraits, but boy did Mom & I have to work for them! When Miss A. finally drifted off, I was able to capture some really great shots. I love the one below – aren’t her eyelashes the cutest thing you’ve ever seen?
One of the other little features I’m in love with is her toes. LOL. I love capturing all the little newborn “parts” … especially when they are different. Check out how her fourth toe curls around and under the third toe – totally awesome.
I did one of my “glowy” effects on this last one … it gives this image a nice angelic look that I adore.
Mom, thanks for being so patient with me and your new bundle of joy 🙂 We captured several winners, that’s for sure! I’ll let you know when I finish up with the rest and I’ll see you in 3 months!
This is a long post – please read to the end!!
I’m happy to announce that I will be adding a new service –
There are many different options – please check out the gallery on my website for more examples. Don’t feel limited by what’s in the gallery – use your imagination! These will look fantastic in a child’s bedroom or your family room. Most of my designs are 10×20, 16×20, 11×14 or square crops (12×12 or 20×20).
I am selling the design – not a print or a template. You will be purchasing printing rights and a high-resolution flattened .jpeg file with images of your choice from your session. You will be able to print or create products at your leisure – these will make amazing one-of-a-kind gifts or very unique wall art! I suggest printing storyboards on gallery wraps or standouts – no framing required and they’re super cool! Or if you’re crafty, they could be mounted on foam core board and then hung with a coordinating ribbon attached to the back. And of course, you can always have a print custom-framed as well!
The Storyboard Designs start at just $30 (any of the sizes or designs) with up to 4 images. Each additional images is $10. For example – a storyboard with 5 images is $40. Please feel free to email me – I am happy to answer any questions!
will be offered in September and October. Stay tuned over the next few months for details. Openings will be limited so it will be best to book as soon as I have dates available. These sessions will be outside at a location of my choice. These are a great opportunity to get a smaller number of portraits at a discounted price. Keep an eye on the blog for information – I’ll start booking the mini-sessions when dates become available.
will be changing April 1st. Please check out the website for details. Digital file pricing will remain the same. I’m super excited about a few new digital services that I will be adding over the next couple of months as well! All sessions that are booked now through March 31st will be under current pricing. If you know that you’d like to book a session over the summer, schedule now to receive current pricing. Sessions must be reserved with a $25 deposit by March 31st to qualify.
Last but not least
Thank you to all of my amazing clients for continuing to trust your memories to me. It means everything to me that you pass my name onto your friends & family – it is the absolute best compliment I could ever ask for! I am booked almost completely through JUNE because of you – THANK YOU! And PS – if you haven’t checked out my Referral Program – please do so on the website! It’s the best way I know how to say thank you 🙂
First I need to apologize to Mom & Dad for the several-day delay on the sneak peek 🙂 But I’ll definitely say – I think the wait was totally worth it! Check out some of the awesome portraits we got of this new little guy – these are some of my favorites so far. Mom worked her special powers and got him into a pretty deep sleep several times … that afforded me the ability to curl him up so perfectly – I’m just tickled with how that first image turned out. Wouldn’t you love to be THAT flexible?!
Thanks Mom & Dad for the opportunity to capture your little guy at such a special time. I appreciate your willingness to be peed on so many times – you both were SUCH great sports!
Pretty Miss A. sure was full of adorable smiles on Saturday. Of course, it *may* have had something to do with Mom & Dad singing “Chantilly Lace” and acting goofy 🙂 What a fun family to spend a Saturday morning with!!
This little lady is not only a brown-eyed beauty, she also has quite the collection of awesome headbands. My favorite has to be the one with the “A” on it – too precious! Thanks for inviting me into your home, I had so much fun capturing little A. at 7 months!
