This was SUCH a fun session!! I’ve been wanting to go to the railroad track by my house for … I don’t know … over a year now? LOL. Mom obliged me and we only got stopped by the firemen once 🙂 Hehe.
There were so many fun portraits, I had such a tough time trying to decide which ones to post tonight. But I think these are my favorites. My MOST favorite from this session is the 2nd one above – I liked it so much that I processed it a few different ways. The version I posted is a desaturated vintage look – this was my personal fav! (Check below for the other 2 versions!)
Thanks to this fun family for an awesome session – the kids were perfect and I had a blast!
Here are a few different versions of this fun portrait!
The first is the edited original, the second is the vintage version I posted in the peek and the last is a vanilla “bakery glaze” action. I’m sticking with my favorite – it’s the middle one, I just love it! Something about all the princess-y goodness on a railroad track with a vintage look 🙂 Perfection!
Isn’t Miss E. a DOLL?! Her eyes … WOW! She was a great model for me and I got the opportunity to do this session at a gorgeous home built in the mid-1800’s! Thanks Grandma & Grandpa 🙂 The house was amazing – tons of cool architectural details that you just don’t see anymore. It was the perfect spot to capture this adorable 6-month old.
I’m super-excited about a bunch of the portraits we got, but I’m most excited about the first one. I’ve been wanting a perfect “grabbing feet” portrait and I finally had success, yay! Thanks to Miss E. for allowing me to capture it! And thanks to her awesome family for a fun morning – it was a pleasure to meet you all!
I am L-O-V-I-N-G this weather!! It was a teeny weeny bit chilly on Saturday, but I’d rather deal with that any day over being inside for a session! I had the pleasure of capturing another great family with gorgeous siblings at my favorite location 🙂 Have I mentioned I adore my job?!
These are a few of my favorite individual portraits so far. We had to work to get some natural smiles … and boy did that work pay off! Aren’t these kids stunning? Little sis is a natural in front of the camera and I can totally see that big bro will have all of the ladies in a few short years – just check out his eyes! I really love all of these shots but I’m excited with how that last one turned out the most. I am totally digging her beautiful reflection!
Thanks P. family for being such good sports and putting up with the cooler temps to get outside! It was definitely worth it!
These 3 gorgeous siblings are all celebrating their birthdays, how fun! We had nice enough weather to get outside and really enjoy ourselves. Older brother is SUCH a ham and little Miss A. is the happiest baby on the planet, I swear! Mr. C. (the middle guy in the first & fourth portraits) was a bit more of a challenge, but a few bribes got him to open up for me perfectly.
I just love how they all resemble each other but are also so different at the same time. They all have incredible eyes but they’re all different colors – soooo cool (and fun for me to photograph!). And BTW, Miss A. is the absolute spitting image of her Momma – wow! I had such a blast today, I really DO go to my happy place when I can photograph kiddos outside. I have the BEST job EVER!
