  • Welcome!

*Please note that I am no longer accepting new clients.*

Thank you so much for visiting! I am Nicole, a custom newborn photographer and owner of Nicole Renée Newborns. I specialize in Newborn Portraiture in Baltimore County, Maryland and surrounding areas. I am a studio-only photographer working with natural light. I would describe my style as creative, fun and modern. I like natural poses, interesting textures and fun props. I am one of the only 100% digital newborn photographers in the Baltimore area and am thrilled to offer high-resolution digital files to my clients.

You can view my recent work by scrolling down, or visit my portfolio by clicking on one of the "portfolio" links at the top. Also, I truly enjoy donating my photography services to new adoptive families through my non-profit organization, Red Thread Sessions. I am no longer accepting new clients to focus on my family and do not have intentions of returning to work soon. It has been such a pleasure to work with so many families through the years, and I truly cherish every single one! May God bless your day!

Mini Jordan

This fun little guy just celebrated his first birthday. He went to town on his cake and was an absolute pleasure to photograph. We had great weather and lots of cute smiles. And oh boy his eyes … well they speak for themselves.
Mom & Dad are both basketball players and are already grooming this little one for a big future in the game. Seriously – he can throw the ball better than my 4 year old. LOL. His parents love the game so much that his middle name is Jordan 🙂 Awesomeness. I’ll be looking for him in the NBA in 20 years. Thank you for the opportunity to capture such a fun milestone in this little guy’s life!

Adorable birthday boy

This was the second time I’ve had the pleasure of photographing this little guy – what an adorable kid! He seems to have this “serious” side that only comes out when I am with him. LOL. But I managed to steal several shots of him smiling and being himself. He was lots of fun to work with today and the weather couldn’t have been more gorgeous despite the gloomy forecast 🙂
Mom & Dad thought this session would be fun to do at Patapsaco State Park – what a great choice! We were even able to get a super cool family portrait with a waterfall as the background – so excited about that one! I wanted to post it too, but there were so many cute portraits of little L. by himself that it just didn’t make it into the peek. Thank you again for allowing me to capture your little guy’s first birthday, what a fun milestone! Happy Mother’s Day!

love the one in the tonal b/w of him looking up at you—too cute!

A beautiful family

It was SUCH a humid day, but these adorable kids didn’t seem to mind, thank goodness! All 3 have their own personalities and they definitely showed during our session. There were so many awesome individual portraits of these kiddos, but this last one has my heart … the best part was that she was acting like a goof and was pretty much done with posing for me.
Mom & Dad have done a fantastic job with these little ones – they are ALL gorgeous and are really sweet kids. It was a pleasure spending a super-sticky evening with you all! Thank you so much for the opportunity to photograph your kiddos!

Mama and her boys

What a beautiful family! This was the third time I’ve had the pleasure of photographing them … you may remember the boys because their portrait won the Christmas FB contest at the end of last year. Of course the little guy is much bigger now – almost 8 months – and such a cutie! He was also extremely happy even given the humidity and the bugs 🙂 I also really love seeing the relationship he has with his older brother, it’s totally priceless.
It almost pained me to convert any of these to b&w, so I only posted one. I liked all of the colors so much, but really do feel that the last one looks nicer converted – you can really see the love between mom & son, so precious 🙂 That’s also a real smile from Mr. J. – I think they were having so much fun that, for just a second, they forgot I was there.

Meet Mr. Eyelashes

Boy, I have really lucked out with newborns that have amazing eyelashes recently! This little guy definitely wins the prize for the longest eyelashes – they’re just stunning 🙂 He also had a head full of hair and was a perfect model yesterday. He wasn’t very excited about being curled up, but he was so precious all stretched out, that it didn’t really matter!
Thanks O. Family for the opportunity to capture such a special time in your life, I had so much fun! I’ll let you know as soon as I finish up with the rest of your proofs. Hope you’re getting some good sleep!
