I had some fun editing these! This first one is processed with a vintage style and I just love it! The kids have great expressions on their faces but my favorite part is how big brother is curling his toes in his shoes. I know I’m strange, LOL. But it shows that he was really having a good time 🙂
I’m really digging these kiddos in b&w also. I have all of the color versions too, but just “felt” the b&w on a lot of these.
Here’s the vintage processing again. It’s definitely not for every image but these kids really pull it off well 🙂
And one more of big brother in b&w – I think this was a “stinky face” … toooo cute!
Thanks Mom & Dad for meeting up with me on Memorial Day! These are a few of my favorites from what we shot. Your kids are utterly adorable, I can’t wait to get my camera in front of them again!
I had such a fun time photographing this little beauty – this is the 4th time I’ve had the pleasure so she probably looks familiar! It’s impossible to forget those unbelievably reflective baby blues 🙂 Miss Piper is just about to turn 1 and is now crossing into the “little girl” territory … it’s a little bittersweet!
She is an amazing trooper – we used several areas for our portraits and got her out of the stroller over and over again … she happily posed for me (most of the time anyway). LOL. We shot some fun cake smashing images too, at least until the ants invaded and took over.
To Mom & Dad – THANK YOU! It’s been a pleasure to capture Piper’s first year and I sooo appreciate your referrals! It means more than you know that you continue to send your friends to me. I look forward to watching Piper grow up – we’ll meet up again soon to get those tutu shots!
PS – Hey Clients!!
This session fee was completely waived because Piper’s parents have sent me so many referrals! If you don’t know about my referral program – head over to my website and check it out! You can earn a waived session fee for every 3 referrals for paid portrait sessions. It’s the best way I know to say “thank you!”
There are so many things I adore about this first image … the obvious adorable newborn smile, her curly ear, the cowlick that her brother also sports and the back wrinkles. I just love it when I catch a newborn mid-smile, it totally makes my day 🙂
This little princess was pretty much perfect after about 3 hours when momma finally got her drifting off. Although she’s fighting a bit of jaundice her skin was absolutely perfect otherwise.
And when she was really sleepy, she let me mold her almost any way I wanted (save the placement of her hands a few times – she was quite particular about where they should be!).
This image is, to me, the epitome of the fetal position – look at her teeny tiny bottom! Oh so precious.
To finish off this fun peek, I included a shot of Miss M.’s big brother at just 17 months old. I kept telling mom how “beautiful” he was and then corrected myself with “handsome.” LOL. But seriously, he is one gorgeous little guy – I can’t wait to see what a beauty the new little princess is at the next session!
Thank you for inviting me into your home during such a special time! It was fun getting to know your family and I appreciate “using” your new baby girl as a model for all of my new props. We got some really awesome portraits with the new stuff, I’m saving them for your gallery 🙂
Seriously, isn’t that 1st one the sweetest “big brother” portrait? This little guy is expecting a new baby sister in July so we had a pre-baby family session. I just adore the maternity portraits we did of Mom, she’s totally stunning! I’m also in love with the b&w family portrait. We got an awesome “traditional” pose also, but I mostly prefer the in-the-moment shots anyway.
And of course, the session would not have been complete without individual portraits of 18-month old J. It’s funny, this little guy made us work for the shots, but I sure am glad we didn’t give up! A few of my favorites came from the last 10 minutes of the session! LOL.
R. and L. – I had a really fun time hanging out with you both and chasing around your little guy – he is such a sweetie pie! Good luck with the rest of the pregnancy!
I always enjoy photographing this little guy. You may remember him as the Little Sailor HERE. At 9 months now, he is moving around a ton compared to our last session. He also has such a variety of facial expressions … I think we just *may* have captured them all 🙂 I’ll leave the final call up to Mom though. Here are a few of my favorites so far. He is pulling himself up on everything and crawling all over. He is super entertained by Mom & Dad too, which you can especially see in the first portrait (love the little teefers!).
Thanks again M & B for another great session! I’m so glad the weather held out for us! I can’t wait to see your little guy in another 3 months!
