How gorgeous and HAPPY is this little one?! We met up yesterday with Mom & Dad to commemorate her first birthday. We had the most *perfect* weather any photographer could possibly ask for.
Miss S. was in such a great mood – so joyful and full of life! You can see she also has some really impressive walking skills – wow was she on the GO! She’s a quick little one, but I was still able to keep up with her 🙂 She also likes to dance, as evidenced by the next 2 images.
Isn’t the red dress stunning? You’ll be surprised to find out that Dad picked this one out – go Dad!
There are certain images that just scream “convert me to b&w!” – this was one of them. Oh the drama … just love the contrast of her dress and her eyes.
This is another one that has d-r-a-m-a written all over it. It works perfectly with my vintage processing.
I had a super-fun time shooting this session! I can’t wait to get my hands on the rest of the images to process too! Thank you Mom & Dad for the privilege of photographing your little one – she’s just perfect in every way!
I’m pleased to introduce 10-day old Miss S. Such a beauty! She is another record-setter for me with a birth weight of 10lbs 9oz! Amazingly though, I agree with Mom & Dad that she doesn’t look “big” … in fact, I think she looks pretty perfect. She has the best creamy skin and seriously was a joy to photograph. If only all newborn sessions went this smoothly! Unfortunately Mom & Dad paid the price the night before the session though, but Miss. S. sure did sleep for us yesterday. I think the rough night was worth it (for me at least!).
I’m just in love with several of these shots. This little one has lots of different facial expressions and I was able to capture several of them yesterday. I even caught her dimple, more than once! Yay! Thanks Mom & Dad for being so hospitable, even after a super-tough night! I’ll let you know as soon as I’m finished with the rest of your proofs. Congratulations!
I had such a fun afternoon with this family! We were celebrating little H.’s first birthday today – what a cutie patootie! He is really into exploring his surroundings – everywhere we went, he picked up a new treasure to study. You can even see the sticks and pinecone in his hands 🙂
In addition to individual portraits of H., Mom was also looking for some family shots because she is always the one behind the camera – I can certainly sympathize with that! This last shot was one of the first ones that struck me – I love how much fun everyone is having in this one!
Mom & Dad – it was a pleasure to get to know your family! Mr. H. is absolutely gorgeous – I can’t wait to see him again in the future!
Say hello to Miss M. – 8 months of pure joy and sweetness. I feel safe to say that she is the most smiley baby I have ever photographed. She was unbelievably happy and was up for everything we threw at her. Wow. Meeting up very early this morning was definitely a perfect decision – baby girl was ready to go, the weather was totally amazing and we had Swan Harbor Farm completely to ourselves.
Mom & Dad – THANK YOU! It was such a pleasure to capture a little piece of Miss M. today. I had a ton of fun and can’t wait to work with your family again!
Well what a difference the weather and time of day can make for kids. You may remember these kiddos from HERE at Jerusalem Mill a couple months back … it was insanely hot and just not a good time of the day for the kids, so we rescheduled. We got awesome results yesterday, I’m just thrilled!
You can see that big bro was an absolute ham and little sis has such amazing baby blues. I still had to chase after Miss E., but that’s how it goes when you’re 2 – there is no time to stop and sit very long for a lady with a big camera 🙂 There’s just waaay too much to do!
Her Daddy is really funny – if you ever need a good laugh, I’ll put you in touch with him 🙂 LOL.
Seriously, how handsome is this little dude? He did SUCH a great job for me and did everything that I asked of him. What more could I possibly ask for???
I just love all of these … there is nothing like seeing parents with their kiddos interacting, having fun and enjoying themselves. There’s even more of Mom to go through, but these are 2 favorites so far.
And last but certainly not least, one more of Miss E. with the serendipity processing that I’m still in love with 🙂 She is SUCH a doll!
I had such a good time with this session, what a pleasure it was to photograph this family! Everything was just about perfect yesterday for our session and it definitely shows in the images because everyone had so much FUN! Thank you E. Family, I’ll let you know as soon as I finish with the rest!
