  • Welcome!

    *Please note that I am no longer accepting new clients.*

    Thank you so much for visiting! I am Nicole, a custom newborn photographer and owner of Nicole Renée Newborns. I specialize in Newborn Portraiture in Baltimore County, Maryland and surrounding areas. I am a studio-only photographer working with natural light. I would describe my style as creative, fun and modern. I like natural poses, interesting textures and fun props. I am one of the only 100% digital newborn photographers in the Baltimore area and am thrilled to offer high-resolution digital files to my clients.

    You can view my recent work by scrolling down, or visit my portfolio by clicking on one of the "portfolio" links at the top. Also, I truly enjoy donating my photography services to new adoptive families through my non-profit organization, Red Thread Sessions. I am no longer accepting new clients to focus on my family and do not have intentions of returning to work soon. It has been such a pleasure to work with so many families through the years, and I truly cherish every single one! May God bless your day!

One More With His Family {Baltimore Adoption Photographer}

What a great morning we had on Saturday!  I love meeting new adoptive families and am always so thrilled to capture their first new family portraits.  This little guy completely stole my heart … I absolutely adore cleft kiddos anyway and well, he just smiled the whole time we were together!  At just shy of being home for a month, I was happily surprised to see him so relaxed and content, even in the new surroundings of the city garden AND with a new person carrying around a big camera.  Mom & Dad are so in love with their little man and boy-oh-boy I sure can see why!  What a little love he is!

SHOOT MY KIDS! Workshop Date {Back-to-School Edition}

School is just around the corner.  Actually, many of my Facebook buddies have kiddos that have already started back (I missed the memo about school starting in the beginning of August, sheesh!).  And in our case, we are gearing up for our first year of delving into the world of homeschooling!  Isn’t my oldest utterly adorable with her homeschool books below?  Oh I just love that girl!

This is the PERFECT time to learn how to use that fancy DSLR camera that you’ve been keeping on the dreaded green box (AKA auto).  There will be plenty of memories throughout the school year that you will want to freeze in time … why not do it creatively while actually using all of those settings on your camera?  You (or someone who loves you!) spent lots of money on a camera for you to take awesome pictures of your littles, let me teach you how to do that!

For more information about what you’ll learn in the Workshop, visit the website by clicking on the big colorful camera below.  Or if you are on a mobile device and don’t have flash capabilities, click on THIS LINK so you can read all about it!  And PS, I’m so thrilled to share (ok, brag a little) that I was recently quoted in Baltimore’s Child Magazine in an article about taking better pictures of your kids!  If you’re interested, here’s the LINK to the the online version, you’ll need to scroll to page #22.

Peanut is 3! {Harford County Child Photographer}

I just adore this little guy.  Aside from the fact that he reminds me so much of my own little guy, he’s just been so much fun to watch grow.  I’ve been photographing his life since before he was born and it’s always such a delight to work with him and his parents.  We had to work for these this time around, but oh did the effort pay off!  After several failed bribe attempts, Mom was finally able to work her magic by telling him a few special secrets … after that he was all smiles and quite the little model.  His smile is absolutely contagious!

awwww…so adorable!

Dainty little princess {Maryland Newborn Photographer}

I have been on a baby girl roll for the last few weeks!  I just adore all the pink, purple, ruffles and headbands 🙂  Dainty Miss S. pretty much only wanted to be swaddled yesterday – even when moving very slowly, the slightest changes would startle her.  So we worked with wraps for awhile until she relaxed enough for us to be able to capture some pretty non-wrap portraits.  Although we had a bit of a rough start, she was an absolute angel for me and I am so thrilled with our results.  My session with her just re-instilled my love of wraps and simplicity, and I think you’ll see why too!  Congratulations to  Miss L.’s family, I can already tell that big sis is fitting into her roll just perfectly!
