  • Welcome!

    *Please note that I am no longer accepting new clients.*

    Thank you so much for visiting! I am Nicole, a custom newborn photographer and owner of Nicole Renée Newborns. I specialize in Newborn Portraiture in Baltimore County, Maryland and surrounding areas. I am a studio-only photographer working with natural light. I would describe my style as creative, fun and modern. I like natural poses, interesting textures and fun props. I am one of the only 100% digital newborn photographers in the Baltimore area and am thrilled to offer high-resolution digital files to my clients.

    You can view my recent work by scrolling down, or visit my portfolio by clicking on one of the "portfolio" links at the top. Also, I truly enjoy donating my photography services to new adoptive families through my non-profit organization, Red Thread Sessions. I am no longer accepting new clients to focus on my family and do not have intentions of returning to work soon. It has been such a pleasure to work with so many families through the years, and I truly cherish every single one! May God bless your day!

Pretty in red {Baltimore Newborn Photography}

This precious baby girl had quite the dramatic entry into the world!  After an extended hospital stay, she was finally able to visit me at the studio at 3 1/2 weeks old.  Although older than my typical newborns, Miss R. did not disappoint!  She was a great little model for me, especially between mama’s feeds and daddy’s shushing – what a perfect team her parents are!  She was such a pretty little thing and made amazing eye contact!  It was an absolute pleasure to work with her and get to know her parents.  Thanks Mom & Dad for the opportunity to capture your beautiful princess at such an amazing time, I had a blast!

Simplicity {Baltimore Child Photographer}

Sometimes the best prop is a simple white bed!  I shot these of my daughter for a post on my personal blog and I loved how they turned out, so I thought I would share here too.  I adore them in color, but there is something stunning about the black & white conversions too, don’t you think?  I just cannot get over her beauty!

9lbs 7ozs Of Squishiness {Baltimore Newborn Photography}

This little man is so loved!  All of his family just doted and doted on him, it was so beautiful to see!  And I can understand why too – he was such a cutie and so sweet!  He wasn’t that excited about his portrait session but  mom and I were able to coax him into posing for his first pictures anyway.  It was an absolutely joy to meet his whole family, I had so much fun getting to know everyone!

Oh and P.S.  GOOOOOO RAVENS!!!!!!!!!

Red Thread Sessions 2012 Adoptive Families

I am so honored to have helped found an organization of photographers that gives back to adoptive families. It has been so thrilling and inspiring to see over 450 professional photographers across the U.S. selflessly volunteer their time with Red Thread Sessions over this past year. There is so much talent among our photographers, oh what a blessing they have been to us and to adoptive families throughout the nation! I think our launch year has been much more successful than any of us would have ever dreamed. After working our way through it with lots of trial and error, it will be even more exciting to see Red Thread Sessions continue to blossom and reach more people. I am so grateful to call this “my baby” and am so incredibly hopeful to see what the future holds!

As we celebrate our one year anniversary, please help me in congratulating the Red Thread Sessions 2012 Adoptive Families, there were over 100! I put this slideshow together for the upcoming Created 4 Care retreat, and absolutely adore it. It is easy to see LOVE in these images, oh it makes my heart sing! Thank you for your support!

Perfect little snowman {Perry Hall Newborn Photography}

This little snowman made his debut three weeks early, just in time for Christmas!  Mom is a fellow photographer, and we had a lot of fun incorporating all of the Christmas and holiday props.  We were even able to use his great-grandma’s vintage rolling pin!  It was a blast getting to meet mom, dad and their precious little man.  And of course, I absolutely love our resulting portraits!  Merry Christmas!
