Say hello to Miss M. – 8 months of pure joy and sweetness. I feel safe to say that she is the most smiley baby I have ever photographed. She was unbelievably happy and was up for everything we threw at her. Wow. Meeting up very early this morning was definitely a perfect decision – baby girl was ready to go, the weather was totally amazing and we had Swan Harbor Farm completely to ourselves.
Mom & Dad – THANK YOU! It was such a pleasure to capture a little piece of Miss M. today. I had a ton of fun and can’t wait to work with your family again!
I met Miss A. and her parents at Swan Harbor Farm this morning to commemorate her first birthday! We had really great weather after all of that rain yesterday. Isn’t this family totally adorable? You may remember them from HERE when I photographed Miss A. at 7 months. I just love this little woman’s dark brown eyes – so dramatic and pretty!
She is now a PRO (seriously – an absolute pro) at walking. I normally start having difficulties keeping up with little ones at about 18 months, so she is way ahead of the game.
We employed a few of my props to try and slow her down … they worked … for a few seconds. LOL. Fortunately her daddy is super funny and was able to get a few laughs out of her.
I processed this next one with my new “serendipity” action – it looks awesome with the red barn background. Plus Miss A. is sporting her “I’m a model and this is my serious face” attitude. LOL. I love her!
I threw in one extra because it just makes me smile. LOL. Actually this is one of my favorites from the session. This is a true happy baby – who wouldn’t enjoy pulling her dress up and letting her hair blow in the breeze?!
Mom & Dad – it was great to see your family again, thanks for meeting up with me and being flexible with a rain reschedule! Happy Birthday to your little angel, she gets prettier and prettier!
I *know* you aren’t supposed to use the word “beautiful” to describe little boys. But seriously, this little one is gorgeous! His long-ish blonde hair makes me want to grow my son’s hair out – so awesome!
At 2 years old, little J. was such a ham – it’s easy to see what a happy child he is, that’s for sure!
I added this one onto the sneak peek because it’s so darn cute! I see your belly button buddy, you are too funny!
Mom & Dad, thanks for meeting up with me today! Your son is utterly adorable, I just can’t wait to work on the rest of your session!
This fun little guy just celebrated his first birthday. He went to town on his cake and was an absolute pleasure to photograph. We had great weather and lots of cute smiles. And oh boy his eyes … well they speak for themselves.
Mom & Dad are both basketball players and are already grooming this little one for a big future in the game. Seriously – he can throw the ball better than my 4 year old. LOL. His parents love the game so much that his middle name is Jordan 🙂 Awesomeness. I’ll be looking for him in the NBA in 20 years. Thank you for the opportunity to capture such a fun milestone in this little guy’s life!
What a beautiful family! This was the third time I’ve had the pleasure of photographing them … you may remember the boys because their portrait won the Christmas FB contest at the end of last year. Of course the little guy is much bigger now – almost 8 months – and such a cutie! He was also extremely happy even given the humidity and the bugs 🙂 I also really love seeing the relationship he has with his older brother, it’s totally priceless.
It almost pained me to convert any of these to b&w, so I only posted one. I liked all of the colors so much, but really do feel that the last one looks nicer converted – you can really see the love between mom & son, so precious 🙂 That’s also a real smile from Mr. J. – I think they were having so much fun that, for just a second, they forgot I was there.
