Pretty Miss A.

Pretty Miss A. sure was full of adorable smiles on Saturday. Of course, it *may* have had something to do with Mom & Dad singing “Chantilly Lace” and acting goofy 🙂 What a fun family to spend a Saturday morning with!!
This little lady is not only a brown-eyed beauty, she also has quite the collection of awesome headbands. My favorite has to be the one with the “A” on it – too precious! Thanks for inviting me into your home, I had so much fun capturing little A. at 7 months!

a perfect angel

Angelic Miss A. is enrolled in the Sweet Beginnings Collection, and I can just tell we are going to get along perfectly over the next year. At only 10 days old, she couldn’t have been more cooperative – wonderfully curly and sleeping almost the entire time I was at her house for my visit. Mom & Dad were so accommodating as well – thank you for such a pleasant morning!
I seriously had a difficult time deciding which images to post to the blog – here are the five I ultimately settled on. I can’t wait for Mom & Dad to get a peek at the rest of them. Take care, get some sleep and I’ll see your family in 6 months!

Little Sailor

I think I’m in love with this little guy! At just 6 months, he’s already a perfect model. He couldn’t have been more happy and put up with everything we asked of him. And, seriously – those eyes … ahhh … just love them! PS – that’s Daddy’s Navy hat in that first portrait – sooo precious!

If you’ve ever had a baby session with me, you know I’m generally against photographing a pacifier. In this little man’s situation however – it’s really a part of who he is at this age. It seemed like a perfect addition to a few of the portraits (just a few!).

Mom, I’d say we definitely captured a few (ok, a lot!) of keepers. I’m super excited with our results and hope you are too! I can’t wait to see little J. in another 3 months, take care!

Gorgeous new baby girl

Such a precious little angel at just over 2 weeks old. She made me work for these portraits though – I’m convinced mom will have her hands full in a few years! After not getting anywhere at our session on Saturday, we met again yesterday and we finally had success about 2 hours into the session 🙂
Little S. was still moving around, but teamwork with mom resulted in these awesome images. We got some really fantastic portraits – I just LOVE that first one! I did a special “glaze” effect to give it that glowy look – my favorite! It was a pleasure to capture these – thank you so much for the opportunity!

pretty girls!

What a couple of gorgeous sisters! I had such a difficult time picking a few images for the peek. These girls were incredibly happy and so great to work with! Big sis is definitely in love with little sis … it sure does show! I can just see a lot of super fun girl parties in their future 🙂
Mom & Dad – thank you so much for inviting me into your beautiful home, I had a great time hanging out and chatting … this was the first time I’ve been out since the big snow(s) and I really enjoyed myself. Your girls are precious!
