Ok, I am totally in love with this baby. Our newborn session didn’t go *nearly* as smoothly, so I suppose we are making up for that with this rockin’ session! I just adore so many of the images we captured yesterday, it was difficult to pick only a few for the sneak peek! Miss A. has the most captivating baby blues and was such a joy to be with!
I still had my Christmas mini-session set-up (I know, so lazy of me but it really ended up working out beautifully!), so we started with a few Christmas card portraits and then moved onto some fun stuff. As you can see, this baby girl has a stunning wardrobe. Mom, Dad and I all commented that she has more clothes than we do! LOL. I think that’s the way it always is with your kids, isn’t it?!
Anywho, I really enjoyed myself with this session. Have I mentioned that the 6-8 month range is one of my favorites to photograph? That’s especially the case when they aren’t crawling yet 🙂 Hehe. Thank you Mom & Dad for bringing her out for another session – we have so many winners to pick from, that’s for sure!
What a couple of beauties! I wasn’t sure what to expect with twins … newborns are tough enough on their own but I was pleasantly surprised! Both of the babies slept long enough to grab several really sweet shots and then they let us know when they were done. LOL. Fortunately these baby girls love sleeping together so they naturally fell into adorable cuddly poses.
Mom & Dad – thank you so much for allowing me to capture your precious girls at such a special time! I’m thrilled with our results and I can’t wait to finish up the rest of them for you! I hope you continue to get some sleep!
So what does a photographer do when all of her sessions have been postponed and it’s yucky outside?? She bumps up the ISO on her camera and tests out new products on her son! That’s normal, right?
I just got this doggy hat in the mail from Mel, my client-turned-friend (and amazing crocheter!). Check out her site HERE if you’re looking for an adorable hat or prop for an upcoming session (or maybe if you’re like me and you just love cuteness always). She is super-talented and always exceeds my expectations. This doggy hat is now in my bag of tricks – let me know if you’d like to use it! It will work best for babies that are just sitting up (6-7 months) to ~2 year olds. My son is 2 1/2 and it still looks good on him.
Yay for me that Ryan adores hats. LOL. Most kids are not in this boat, so the younger the baby, the better (before they can take it off!). This hat is particularly fitting for my little man because he has recently been telling me that he is a dog and is crawling around on all fours. Should I be worried? LOL. Actually I think it’s great that his imagination is starting to come alive 🙂
So anywho – this was my rainy day project – I really, really love the 1st and 2nd shots. Maybe it’s mommy goggles, but that is one adorable kid!
It makes people wonder what you’re thinking 🙂 Or in this case, maybe a smile just means gas. LOL. Either way, it’s precious! This little guy was one of my smiley-est to date! Check out this next smirk – love it!
He also set another new record for me yesterday – he’s the smallest peanut I’ve ever photographed. He was born 6 weeks early and spent just a few weeks in the NICU. He technically should still be in his momma’s belly but he now weighs in at a little over 5lbs. He has the smallest little bottom!
I love this next one – a tiny smile and bashful at the same time! LOL.
This was another great session (I’m on a roll with the baby boys!) – little man pretty much passed out for me and just stayed that way. He preferred to be stretched out but I got him pretty curled up too 🙂
Thanks to Mom & Dad for allowing me to capture such a special time in your life! I’m so glad your little guy is finally home and healthy!
Here’s the rest of Little Miss Z’s sneak peek! I have lots of favorites from this session, so here are a few … Mom says she sees this “eyebrow look” a lot – glad we were able to capture it today!
Bubbles anyone? LOL. She was talking AND blowing bubbles all while being super happy – this girl has talent on top of being utterly adorable! (You can see that the pink flower headband has been getting a lot of use over the past few weeks – I’m so glad!)
A vintage-y version of the portrait I already posted. I think I may like this one in full color best, but this one pretty much rocks too 🙂 If her smile doesn’t make your day, I don’t know WHAT will!
A successful attempt with proud big brothers today, yay! Sooo cute – you can certainly see where baby sister gets her good looks. I actually prefer this square crop to the 4×6, so I posted it instead.
Thanks Z. family for another awesome session! I can’t wait to see how much your little woman has changed by our next Sweet Beginnings session. Take care!
