{Baltimore Red Thread Session} Chosen

It is always a true honor to celebrate another family built through the miracle of adoption.  But when that family is one of your dearest, dearest friends, the celebration is even sweeter.  I have been so privileged to be a small part of precious N’s journey to his forever family, all the way from China.  Participating in the preparation, the waiting, the prayer, more waiting, the send off, and the reunion at home with family and friends was such a blessing to me.  And seeing all of the pictures of their time in China made me jump for joy and praise God (ok and it made me a teeny bit jealous too).  E. Family, I am so happy for you.  God clearly knew what He was doing when He put the five of you together.

Celebrating one year {Kingsville Baby Photographer}

I have been photographing Baby N. since she was just a few days old – this is the third time I’ve had the pleasure of working with her family.  I am always in awe over all of the changes that take place in the first year, I have so enjoyed watching her grow into a little toddler!  She has been such a joy, always happy and in a good mood.  Her blue eyes simply sparkle and that dimply smile is contagious.  Happy First Birthday sweet baby girl!

Two blessings {Kingsville Baby Photographer}

I’ve had the pleasure of watching this family grow for 2 1/2 years now, starting with big sister!  Little man is just about to celebrate his first birthday, and it was so awesome to meet up with him and his family yesterday!  It’s hard to believe that a year has passed since his newborn session, but it is really rewarding to see how much he’s grown!  Big sis is so sweet and really starting to come out of her shell … and oh boy she is smitten with her little brother.  I can see lots of adorable bonding moments in their future.  Little guy was full of smiles and so happy, he literally smiled the whole time I was with him!  Happy Birthday sweet boy!

Waited for and so loved {Baltimore Adoption Photographer}

It certainly was easy to feel how treasured this new baby girl was yesterday at our Red Thread Session!  After waiting for Miss K. for a long time, it was tremendous to see her family surrounding her with so much love!  She was three months old exactly at our session, and her domestic adoption was finalized at the end of February.  With Mom, Dad, Big Sis, Grandmom, and Granddad all at the session, it was definitely a family affair!  I was thrilled to have the opportunity to document this special time for their family, congratulations!!!

A Full House! {Baltimore Adoption Photographer}

Oh, how I love big families!  And they hold an even more special place in my heart when they’ve been woven together through adoption.  Mom is a dear friend, and this was the first time I had the pleasure of meeting all of her precious treasures.  You would never know by looking at these portraits, but sweet Miss M. (2nd from the right) is the newest addition to this gang.  She fits in so perfectly, it’s just like she was always there.  Although you can’t tell from her size, Miss M. is technically now the oldest child in the family, although I think someone else will likely retain that role, at least for awhile anyway.

Mom asked for portraits mostly of the littles, although she did get in a few of them … and of course, that made me very happy!  Nothing like a mama with her babes, I tell ya.  Unfortunately Dad wasn’t able to be with us, but I’m pretty sure these images will make him smile!  Here are some of my favorites …
