I had some fun editing these! This first one is processed with a vintage style and I just love it! The kids have great expressions on their faces but my favorite part is how big brother is curling his toes in his shoes. I know I’m strange, LOL. But it shows that he was really having a good time 🙂
I’m really digging these kiddos in b&w also. I have all of the color versions too, but just “felt” the b&w on a lot of these.
Here’s the vintage processing again. It’s definitely not for every image but these kids really pull it off well 🙂
And one more of big brother in b&w – I think this was a “stinky face” … toooo cute!
Thanks Mom & Dad for meeting up with me on Memorial Day! These are a few of my favorites from what we shot. Your kids are utterly adorable, I can’t wait to get my camera in front of them again!
It was SUCH a humid day, but these adorable kids didn’t seem to mind, thank goodness! All 3 have their own personalities and they definitely showed during our session. There were so many awesome individual portraits of these kiddos, but this last one has my heart … the best part was that she was acting like a goof and was pretty much done with posing for me.
Mom & Dad have done a fantastic job with these little ones – they are ALL gorgeous and are really sweet kids. It was a pleasure spending a super-sticky evening with you all! Thank you so much for the opportunity to photograph your kiddos!
What a beautiful family! This was the third time I’ve had the pleasure of photographing them … you may remember the boys because their portrait won the Christmas FB contest at the end of last year. Of course the little guy is much bigger now – almost 8 months – and such a cutie! He was also extremely happy even given the humidity and the bugs 🙂 I also really love seeing the relationship he has with his older brother, it’s totally priceless.
It almost pained me to convert any of these to b&w, so I only posted one. I liked all of the colors so much, but really do feel that the last one looks nicer converted – you can really see the love between mom & son, so precious 🙂 That’s also a real smile from Mr. J. – I think they were having so much fun that, for just a second, they forgot I was there.
This was SUCH a fun session!! I’ve been wanting to go to the railroad track by my house for … I don’t know … over a year now? LOL. Mom obliged me and we only got stopped by the firemen once 🙂 Hehe.
There were so many fun portraits, I had such a tough time trying to decide which ones to post tonight. But I think these are my favorites. My MOST favorite from this session is the 2nd one above – I liked it so much that I processed it a few different ways. The version I posted is a desaturated vintage look – this was my personal fav! (Check below for the other 2 versions!)
Thanks to this fun family for an awesome session – the kids were perfect and I had a blast!
Here are a few different versions of this fun portrait!
The first is the edited original, the second is the vintage version I posted in the peek and the last is a vanilla “bakery glaze” action. I’m sticking with my favorite – it’s the middle one, I just love it! Something about all the princess-y goodness on a railroad track with a vintage look 🙂 Perfection!
