This little one was an absolute dream! She slept through just about our entire session and was really just so good to me! I had a lot of fun tapping into Mom’s newly-found girly side by using fun girly props and accessories. And of course, it was such a pleasure to get to know Mom & Dad while we chatted! Thank you for trusting me to create these first memories for your family!
I had the pleasure of capturing baby girl’s first portraits with her new family during a Red Thread Session when she was first born. It’s been a year since then, and she has grown into a happy, beautiful, almost-toddler! What a joy she is, and it’s so easy to see how much her mom and dad love her too. Happy Birthday Miss R.!
Have I mentioned recently that I love my job? Because if not, I’ll say it again – I love my job! I worked with 6-day-old little L. and his parents yesterday. It was a great morning and I am so happy with the portraits we captured. He was quite particular about how he was posed, but once I figured that out, we were good to go. I have had a handful of babies that simply didn’t like being posed on their belly – this little guy was one of them. No worries though, I was able to sneak a few of those poses in, and then we shot the rest on his side or back. I try my very best to always work with the baby’s personality and not force them into poses they don’t like!
Meet brand new Mr. L., a pure bundle of sweetness!
Mr. C. really was such a sweet little thing! He was so good for me, even through the little bit of time when he wasn’t fond of sleeping. Mom and Dad are big Orioles fan (Go O’s!!!), so I am just tickled with how this first image turned out. We got so many other great shots, but I think the first is my favorite. Mom and Dad, it was such a pleasure to meet you and work with your little guy. What a treasure he is!
Baby boy was such a sweetheart! He was exactly 14 days old at our session, and such a charmer. Although quite particular about his hands and feet, he was easy to get to sleep and was super fun to work with. His nursery is gray and yellow, so I worked with a lot of gray yesterday and fell in love! The simple poses are some of my favorites!
